During the Master course, participants study more than 2,000 perfectly documented cases, many of which are explained step by step, with the complete treatment sequences.
Introduction
Welcome to the Master Damon web site of Doctors Rafael García Espejo and Ramón Perera, who are internationally renowned for the quality of their teaching and their careful finishing of every clinical case.
On this web site, you will find all the information you need to know about the specialisation courses in the Damon System that the doctors are currently giving in different parts of Europe.
Programme
The Damon Master consists of 4 two-day modules generally held on weekends or on days close to the weekend . The interval between modules is usually 2 to 3 months.
At the end of the Master, students have the option to attend a 5th practical module at the clinics of Drs. García Espejo (Córdoba) and Perera Grau (Lleida).

Dr. Rafael García Espejo has exclusively worked as an orthodontist since the end of the 1980s, when he completed a three year Masters course in Orthodontics at the University of Seville, where he acquired a solid grounding in the Rickets bioprogressive technique, with many influences including the classical multiloop edgewise archwire technique, followed by a move towards the straight arch technique.
In 2001, he met with Dr. Dwight Damon and after a clinical stay at Dr Damon's clinic in Spokane (WA, USA), he decided to exclusively focus on the Damon System.
Dr. Perera began his professional career in 1986, after two years of training in the straight wire technique with Doctor Cervera.
Between 1995 and 1997, he became acquainted with the field of functional occlusion by completing the courses and following the teachings of Drs. Roth and Williams.
His contact, and subsequent clinical stay, with Dr. Damon, in 2001, radically changed his vision of orthodontics. Since then, he has dedicated his practice exclusively to the Damon System and to the passive self-ligation technique.
