Dear students and friends of the Damon Master course,

On this occasion, we regret to contact you with some terrible news that has left us all absolutely devastated: last week, our colleague and friend, Dr Claude Lemasson, died after an unfortunate accident which was followed by further complications.

Apart from having a very close friendship, which lasted for almost 15 years, we worked together to organise the courses, on which he had once been a student himself (on the second course). Claude was, without a doubt, one of the strongest pillars that has sustained the Damon Master courses. He was also one of its main points of reference, particularly at the international level and for French-speaking students from a wide range of different countries.

What can you say about Claude? Well, he was one of those people for whom we should give thanks to God and destiny for giving us the fortune to know him. He was one of those figures who had much more experience, professionality and human category than most of us. He was a person who the Damon Master course allowed us to meet and to introduce to the philosophy of the Damon technique, and he reciprocally infected us with his own passion for orthodontics (which still remained fully intact at his 76 years of age), his creativity, wisdom and scientific rigour, and his affection, with which was capable of forging lifelong friendships.

It is hard to wake up every morning and see that it was not a nightmare and that he really has left us. It is difficult to imagine our orthodontic practices without Claude and it is impossible to describe here all that he has meant to us.

Rest in peace, and all the best, brother !!!!!!!!!!!!!
