On 11th November, our Dr Perera travelled to Paris to take part in the second largest orthodontics congress in Europe: Les Journées de l'Orthodontie, as an invited speaker. At this event, he once more explained his experience with the Damon System to an audience that had come from far and wide.

Last month, Dr Perera was in Mexico City, from 26th to 28th October, for the Damon Forum Mexico 2017. This was held at the World Trade Center, which was fully decked out to receive the different speakers participating in the event. These included our own Dr Perera, who gave a presentation entitled “Finishing cases with the Damon System” at a congress that was attended by over 1000 people. After the 5-hour course, Dr Perera was awarded a commemorative plaque.

On 25th October, Dr Perera crossed the Atlantic to take part in the 39th International Orthodontic Session in Argentina. On this occasion, Buenos Aires was the city chosen to host this congress, at which our doctor gave an advanced course entitled “Finishing cases with the Damon System” to doctors who had already specialised in this technique. His trip to Argentina was followed by a subsequent visit to Mexico, where his international agenda continued.

On 20th and 21st October, a new session of the Damon Master course with translation into French was held in Madrid. Once more, we were accompanied by Salagne and Marisa, the interpreters who have been working with doctors García Espejo and Perera on the French version of this specialisation course for a number of years. This group required simultaneous translation in order to ensure that the participants did not lose any of the details of the content taught.
